Why I Should Attend?
This is an interactive introduction to QuickBooks® that is tailored to meet the needs of all levels of users from beginning to advanced. We start with a review of basic accounting principles to ensure the principles are properly applied in QuickBooks®. You will learn how to: set up your organization’s accounting system correctly; customize your chart of accounts; properly post income, expenses, and obligations in QB; and reconcile your system with bank statements. You will set up and work with vendor and customer files, and we will help you customize the system to meet your unique needs (credit cards, travel advances, importing transactions from your bank, etc.) You will become familiar with the four basic financial reports and their purpose. You will learn to generate customized financial reports and prepare for audits.

The objective of this seminar is to provide participants an applied working knowledge and understanding of QuickBooks® and basic accounting principles. At the end of this session you will be able to navigate QuickBooks® independently and with confidence.
