KIVA’s Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Ben Nuvamsa, CEO

The outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is affecting certain areas of the United States and could become severe if we do not take steps to prevent the spread of this virus. Several tribes have already taken precautionary steps and banned all travel to areas hardest hit by the virus. KIVA Institute will do its part to curb any potential spread of the virus to our Native communities as follows:

(1) We have decided to postpone our scheduled public training seminars for March 2020 and April 2020, and will continue the training program at such time as the situation improves;

(2) We are working to reschedule the training sessions and will release a revised schedule soon;

(3) We will be offering webinars on the topics of your interest, so look out for schedules and instructions on how to register for the webinars;

(4) We will continue to provide on-site training as requested by our clients, so if your tribe desires an on-site session to meet your training needs, please contact us right away so we can schedule the sessions.

If you have any questions, please contact us on our toll-free telephone line at 1-866-202-5482, or email us at: [email protected]. Thank you for your understanding; and be safe!
